Hello
Woodie Enthusiast,
Here
at Treehouse Woods we are happy to announce the
arrival of the 1937-1940 Ford Woodie constructed
of fiberglass and composite materials. It is important
to us that our components accurately replicate
the steel originals.
With
nearly 20 years experience in hi-tech composite
fabrication, Space Coast Composites is pleased
to join with Treehouse Woods
in offering the highest quality composite components
available for the restoration of the art form
that is the Woodie automobile.
Cowlings
with virtually zero deflection equal an identical
O.E.M. quality appearance with characteristics
of steel and the fire resistance, sound compression
and heat absorption of composite construction.
Engineering has come full circle with the application
of core mat layering. The same structural composite
utilized in the Treehouse Woods
floor pans assures that the foundation of your
resto-rod is built with the benefits of tomorrow’s
technology. A floor pan that is integral with
the chassis assures less road noise, chassis flex
and engine heat.
Working
with wooden station wagons for the last 24 years,
Treehouse Woods has fabricated
the solid maple bodies that will be mated to the
new cowling and floor pan.
Building
Woodie street rods has been a passion I have enjoyed
immensely and with short supply of “old
tin”, we felt it was time to debut what
we believe was the classic years of 1935-1940
(soon to come 1946-1948).
Thank
You!
Eric Johnson
